Can I Wild Camp?

All our vehicles are adapted so you can “wild camp”, this is when you are not in a campsite and are parked freely without an electrical connection. In Scotland, you may park freely in rural areas if you adhere to being 100 metres from a building and are not creating a dangerous situation for yourself or any other road user.

We would recommend stopping at campsites for the duration of your hire, especially if you like to have the comfort of added facilities. Dependant on the time of year we would suggest booking campsites in advance where possible, even if it’s your first and last stop, especially in the busier summer months!

What do I do when returning the motorhome?

Vehicles must be cleaned unpacked and ready to be handed over to a member of staff by 11am am. Vehicles are expected to be returned in a clean and tidy condition, with rubbish removed. We ask the that motorhome is returned with a full tank of diesel and is returned with an empty toilet cassette and grey water tank.

What time can I collect and return the motorhome?

You can collect your motorhome at 2pm. It will take approximately 1 hour to complete the documentation and demonstrate the workings of your vehicle to you.
The motorhome must be returned, emptied and ready to hand back by 11am. Please allow time for this as the motorhome will be inspected on return also.

We are able to offer early collections (from 9am) or late returns (until 4pm) for an additional half a day’s hire cost each way. These extensions must be agreed prior to the hire commencing and are subject to availability.

How will I know how to use the equipment in the motorhome?

On the day of collection, one of our team will give you a detailed demonstration of the features and functions of the motorhome. We encourage you to ask any questions as we want you to leave feeling confident and knowledgeable of all the controls. We also leave a user manual and are always at the end of the phone to answer any questions. A telephone number from which you can obtain out of hours technical assistance is also provided.
